Just wanted to share how great this track is. Super fun, fast, technical and expanding in the near future. On site condos with garages below the unit. Club house with chef, pool, work out gym, racket ball, gun range, massage, you can even fly in and park the plane in front of the club house...Crazy.

I'll be there this upcoming Saturday Joe
Love SM! Lighting system instead of flaggers, abundant run-off room, decent hotels only minutes away if you can't wrangle a stay at the facility condos.
It is a f'ing travesty that something modern doesn't get built in N. CA. People love their craphole Laguna Seca and Buttonwillow.

Too early indeed. Sworn to secrecy for the moment Harry But I plan to document everything and share it when I get back. Might be worth meeting for the live version over lunch

Joe, thanks for posting. I see you are still enjoying the car to the fullest. RIGHT ON BROTHER!!!
It amazes me how far SMMP has come since I was there. I drove the track from 2002-2006 and when we left to move back to east, the track just completed the track (actual driving surface) expansion. Literally, right before we left so we drove the new layout once. The track had NOTHING on site and the track was a fun little, short track. Really cool to see the expansion and all the support it gets to continue moving forward.
Here's what we used to drive and the lovely paddock and tent we had.........
