don't buy the car if they won't provide the report .. no genuine Porsche dealer will insist on no rev range report if they are serious about selling the car, especially a GT car.

+1 if the car is clean and they want the sale, they will make the report happen

I had a PPI on a 997.1 GT3 performed 2 weeks ago at a Porsche dealer; over-rev report provided.

This is interesting. I had a DME on my car yesterday and was shocked it reported no over revs in any range. I have never money shifted but I have bounced off the rev limiter. I was expecting some range 1's and 2's.

It turns out the junior technician didn't use the right computer. When presented with the option of transporting the car to the nearest dealer, who confirmed they had just done an over rev report yesterday, the senior technician got involved and I got my report. It was fine, no category 4, 5 or 6 over revs. So FINALLY the deal is done!

Thanks for the good input. You guys were right on the money!
