Default RS 4.0 at the track

good buddy (and also on RL) in his gorgeous 4.0

absolutely stonking laptime for a non-pro driver in a GT3 on-track for the first time.

the sound is electric!

screw helmets. gloves are more important!

hesperus, does BRC have arrive-n-drive outfits? going to PI in march. i'd make a side trip there if they do.

Worst case he could be identified by his finger prints if he goes off and burns. Knucklehead.

that's what you get in a banana republic. this is arguably the best high speed track in this country, and yet...

no helmets required.

no vehicle safety checks or standards.

not that it matters, because there's no marshalls at all.

no safety crew or safety equipment present.

truly arrive and drive.

and for the princely sum of you get unlimited 1-year access to the track. so unless there's a race scheduled (which happens maybe 1-2 weekends per month, max) you can run your car as much as you like.

humor aside, all comments are spot on-- a helmet would be ideal.

then again, helmets are optional on the Nurburgring as well, and that track may be just a little bit more treacherous than this one...

see above

for a one time arrive and drive, it would be PM me when you plan to be here, we try to go at least once per month.

It doesn't appear to be his first time on a track.
