7.2 Factory Limited Slip
Hey guys...
How have the 7.2 GT3 factory limited slips been holding up? (Heavy autocross use)
Are there any issues to be concerned with? What has the life been like?
(Rules dictate it must be factory LSD so no recommendations for aftermarket)

Thanks a good question and I don't know the answer. I am pretty darn sure it means as delivered or as ordered.
Can PMS parts be ordered from a dealer showroom and delivered with a factory warranty?
(I can already see this going off topic.....)

Old Motorsport repair disk set (Manthey still has a few sets in stock) or a full Guards unit with proper locking percentages for the 7 cars.
Regarding the motorsport steel LSD pack, and from personal experience including bench load measurements , it holds up perfectly.

Our PCA autox classifications are done based on a points system, with points added for each type and level of modification. You might check your sanctioning body's rules to see what the effect of replacing the factory LSD would be. It might cost you some additional points, but maybe not enough to bump you into a higher class. I can't imagine it would make your car illegal in any event, you'd just have run in a higher bracket. Just a thought.

Guys... in this instance changing ANYTHING mechanical from factory is illegal.
Not a hard concept.
