Default Front Axle Lift poll

I'm interested in responses to a poll and also any other opinions GT3/RS owners might have on the Front Axle Lift system. I've searched through some of the posts on the subject and wanted more current feedback. I'm assuming it will be available on the 991 GT3 and am considering whether it would be a useful feature. Yeah, I know this is premature, but it makes me feel like I'm doing something positive with regard to a pre pre-order. Plus, I'm just curious as to people's thoughts about this option.

I have one fitted factory option and I couldnt be without it
While not my daily driver I occassionally need to get over curbs that as std would tear off the splitter.

While it does obviously add weight which is against you if you are a track rat.

It has to come down to practicality.

If you really need it get it you wont regret it, but if you need it and dont get it.......

well its only a couple of hundred bucks per splitter.

Use it quite a bit, both on the street and at the track.....nice feature to have, but probably could live without it.

for the short term, owners who use it, like it. Especially for daily use.

for the long term, i cant see collectors looking for it or liking it. Typically they will no longer be used for daily use at that point.

Because the nature of the GT3 is normally aspirated and simple like that of the Cup car, less is more.
Options like sport chrono, standard seats, color match stitching and lift are more turbo/C4S charactistics...

In the long run, radio delete, light weight headlight, zero option GT3 will be the cars saught after by enthusists.

I like it because I get to actually take the car on the road instead of sitting on my sloped driveway or in the garage.

I'm keeping my eye out for a GT3 or GT3RS with it! Can't get up my driveway otherwise...

I think its the most important option to have on a .2 GT3. Use mine all the time.

I bought race ramps when my car is set to low and it scraped going on the trailer. Raised my car and now I don't even need the ramps, just push a button and on I go. I use it all the time

Wish I could have it on my Cayman. That thing is stupid low. I scrape the front splitter using 11ft ramps plus 5ft extensions!

Use it every time I trailer, which is every time I use the car. No ramp scraping on loading/unloading. It is pneumatic, so added weight is minimal, and in front.

"It's in front", that's the important thing, helps the weight distribution... And if you're worried about the weight on the track, why not loose some weight yourself...

I'm weight obsessed. But won't spec a car that sees city use without it. 'Nuff said.

38 bought used has it. I don't use it bc I can't remember. I scrape it everywhere and enjoy watching pedestrian expression when I do.

I use it when my 13 year old rides with me because he says that when we lower the car it sounds like an N2O discharge. And he is right.
