It's actually a really nice track...minus the lack of headroom for mistakes. Bill's a great guy and a great teacher, but you have to be open to his model.

Bart, the model is it is a structured school. Access to the track is only via attendance in the school.

I went to driveway Austin yesterday. I've only been Msr cresson and Msr Houston but I felt this track was way more technical. Shake n bake is right. No room for error. But I felt that made me a smoother driver. It is a school but if you have lots of experience or a racing license, they will briefly test your skill level to make sure your not going to mess up the track and let you have unlimited access to the big track for $199 a month/ no contract.

I enjoyed it and will be back. Learned quite a bit. The instructors are very knowledgable and skilled. Most have taught in big name school for years and drive professionally often. Oh and they record your times for you

Interesting, I need to go check them out again. Last time I went, you had to spend about 2 grand and several weekends progressing through a Playstation grand turismo license model to even be allowed to run the full track - regardless of your experience. It was a bit of a turn off for me, so I haven't been back since except to organize a couple corporate events out there.
