Default Outdoor cover for GT3 RS 4.0

I approached the dealership if they had an outdoor cover for the 4.0 and their answer was there was no such thing. In fact the only indoor cover is for 3.8 - Couple of questions for anyone who may know the answers:

1. Is 3.8 indoor cover able to fit over the 4.0? The wing angle being different should not cause much of an issue? Right?
2. Is there any alternatives for an outdoor cover for the 4.0? or 3.8 if the answer to first question is yes.

The reason I ask is that I am about to undertake some remodeling for the garage and may need to park the car outside for a couple of weeks. I know it shouldn't matter but I figured I'd ask if there was a way to cover the car up for not just weather reasons but also because a nicely fitted cover would be nice.

I have the perfect cover for you. Your 4.0 will like it. It will not want to leave. It's 5,000 square feet of car heaven here in Cola. Bring it!

Mine is under the indoor 3.8 cover for winter now. Not really an option for outside.

california car covers makes great products and will custom make them for cars they don't have on file. I was the first person in the country to do the MP4-12C cover, they measured a car at the local dealer and sent me mine in a few weeks.

If you have access to power, this is the ultimate, indoor or outdoor. I have 4 or 5 of my cars in these.

Another alternative is try to rent a short term storage/garage/etc. for your beloved 4.0.

I did it oince, and it cost about $300 per month for a single-car lockable storage space at my local self-storage. I needed to enter a code to enter the gated facility, and then I could use my own padlock for my single-car storage. It worked out quite well for me.

Regards,
