Default Houston dealer experience - insight please

For those members in and around Houston, I'm wondering if any of you have done business with Motorwerks Carline on Southwest Freeway, and if so, what your opinions are?

Also, which authorized Porsche dealer would you suggest for a thorough PPI of a GT3 RS?

Thanks everyone!

I would suggest Momentum.

I would go to Porsche North.

David will fix you up.

No affiliation.

I'm also really happy with Momentum. All the guys in the service department there are great to deal with.

I've been servicing my car at Porsche West (convenient location for me) Cody Zobak has done a very good job. No issues. Easy to deal with.

+1 for West Houston

Have not dealt with the service dept at N. Houston, but for in-town work, I prefer West Houston.

Based on the location of the dealer where the car is located, I would just get the car ppi'd at Momentum. It is right up 59.

I always took the 996 to Porsche West Houston and have often heard that Porsche North Houston is the best in town. However, for a simple ppi, Momentum should be able to take care of everything.

I have used West Houston, and +1 for Cody, he is excellent.
At Motorwerks, ask for Akram, he will set up your car for the track.
Momentum BMW, the service manager tracks his M3, his name is Daniel. Met him at DE events, great guy. Another reference.

I bought my RS at Momentum, with the PPI/CPO done there. I was leery, given the $ and distance involved, but it was a perfect transaction.

Although, who can help recommend a chop for welding the coolant tubes for a 996 in Houston?

West Houston, Ask Cody or James to have Don Erby do your inspection.

Pronounced Erby, but spelled Irby.

I'm available for PPI's as well, although not an "authorized" Porsche dealer.
If you need references for me and my experience with PPI's I can supply them, as well as give you names of other RL members that I have done PPI's for or currently work on their cars.

I didn't want to volunteer Viking, but since he has stepped up, he and Don Irby are the two guys I would go to. Period.
