When you come through DFW make sure you take I35W, NOT I35E. This will take you through Fort Worth which isn't necessarily great but it beats the heck out of going through Dallas. Coming South avoid the 6:30am-8:30am and the 4:00pm-6:30pm time period in FW, otherwise it'll be smooth sailing.

Thanks for telling our guests about that. i for one have always been confused how a north south road can have an E or W. i do understand it goes around the two cities but this would be confusing for anyone.

Ha! Never thought about it that way. I can see where it would be confusing.

HOTEL INFORMATION

I set up a block of rooms at the Four Points by Sheraton about 6 miles from the track. Good rooms with a bar in the hotel. I stay here every time I'm at TWS and they havpe always treated us well.

Here's the confirmation info for you guys to book.

Mr. VonSchmidt,
*
Thank you so much for contacting me today regard your need for rooms at the end of January.* As one of our loyal guests, we get great satisfaction knowing that you are willing endorse and recommend our property to your friends and colleagues.
*
Per our telephone conversation, I went ahead and set up a courtesy block for your group consisting of 20 rooms on the night of Wednesday, January 30, 2013.* This block of rooms is guaranteed at a nightly rate of $79 before hotel taxes.* The rooms are bookable via the Hotel and Four Points Central Reservations.* When the guests call to book, they need only mention the “American Porsche” block on January 30, 2013, and the reservationist will book their room in to the block at the group rate.

So if your interested just let them know.

Thanks for coming down to Texas y'all

I don't think Charles is going to have to pay for any cold Beverages at the hotel. 1st beer is on me.

just spoke to the hotel and they had not input the dates yet. But call the hotel directly at (979)-693-1741 and they can take care of it manually untill it gets in tommorow morning.

On my way to Dallas tonight to get race keeper installed in the car.

Wow, this is some true southern hospitality. Only reason I'll miss this is if we make it all the way to the Super Bowl

Lot of folks in my neck of the woods are really hoping you will be at TWS and COTA. I'm not one of them but just saying. Good luck. If you get that far take it easy on my 49ers.
