I'd like to get an idea of who'd like my assistance on this open track day. Please PM me or email at dave@racecoach.net

Thanks!

Thanks, C

I put in for the request, we'll see if it goes through. If I get the extra day, I can tow 5h the first day and 12 the second. That'll get me to TWS the night before.

I really want the time to TnT a little. With a few tuning changes and a few pieces-parts added this Winter, I want to shake it down carefully. Inevitably, there will be a hose clamp here or something rubbing there that will need attention. Will spend the time logging temps and checking things to gauge how much punishment the car will take at COTA.

It was -3 degrees here, so coming out a day early will help me get back into the swing of things. I may have the only tow vehicle at the event wearing snow tires, lol.

It was -6 here yesterday morning. Haven't gotten snows for my new tow vehicle yet. Otherwise I would have them too.

You need to get out of there quick at minus anything. There are garages for everyones use at TWS so you can really lay out your stuff and get rid of the road cobwebs.

Cool! Got approved for the day off work! That way I can get down to TWS and use some of the day to get 'er up on jackstands and do a once over. Looking forward to meeting you all!

For the Midwest guys, when are you towing down? I'll be taking I35 most of the way there if people want to caravan.

I'm leaving after work on Tues. Will probably try and make it to Kansas City that night. Could even meet up on the way down Wed depending.

I'll try and get a better handle on my route and see where I am trying to make it to on tuesday. Once I get that figured out I'll let you know.

Thanks

This is no doubt a "duh" but if your coming from the north, try to plan your trip to avoid rush hour in the DFW area.

Thanks for the heads up! What hours are rush hour in DFW? In Chicago where I was for school, rush hour was 3-8pm... in Minneapolis, it's like 5-5:30pm.
