I second this.

Yes, Mark Pfeffer is a GREAT guy!!

Dez, the track is 2.9 miles. Even 25 cars total would mean ~10-12 on track at any given time. Pretty sparse!

How much is the track day?

I would have to ask RV peeps if there is a cost differential to leave a day earlier.

I'm not sure what part of the track gets used or not. This map looks pretty confusing.

Dawg, we use T1 through T15. That is the 2.9 mile road course. ignore all other turns.

We pay $300 to run with Chin on a crowded track, so yes I would pay $300 if that is what it takes.

Steve and Dawg,

Get your act together and maximize the trip. Your issue is why I do my own thing when traveling as I want maximum flexibility.

Check the first post in the thread. With 25 cars is $150 for open track. Can't beat that. Come on let's get to 25 people.

Here is a slightly less confusing image of the 2.9 configuration. Those of you who have never driven this track are in for a pleasant surprise. I'd be happy to come up and help those who need help learning the track.

Vonschmidt, I've sent you a PM. I'm coming from Chicago with a trailer and four cars. We're definitely interested.

I'm going to be already out in Texas so as long as Burke and the Euro ladies can get their act together, I say we do it.

Ok with Tonypai and his group of 4 we are at 15 now so I'm sure we can pick up the extras over the next few days. The track date is already locked so see if you guys can stir up a few more friends, I would like to limit this to 25 with 30 as a Max to keep it wide open.

Since Dawg wants to be Baller, he needs to prove it by taking charge and making this happen.

The TWS road course is a neat layout. Got a ride with an instructor in his 997.2 GT3 when I was out there last year for the PCA Club Race in March. The track surface was in good shape and fun from the right seat so you will like driving it. The grounds are sort of like the "track that time forgot" but the track itself is great. Totally worth the $150 per person since you are all making the trip to COTA anyway.

Great news guys. Mglobe the official CMM of the TWS Track (Chief Martini Maker) has agreed to coach anyone that would like some pointers on the Best Little Track in Texas for FREE.

He just told me the opportunity to meet some RListers will be fun.

Just part of the true Texas Hospitality we offer down here, So don't miss out we will get some kind of signup sheet running mid month.
