Default Sebring December 08/09 - Videos

Guys, post your videos from last weekend here.
This is the first one loaded.

Second time driving this tire combo, NT-01 front and RA-1 rear.
It's doesn't work properly. NT-01s have a lot more grip than RA-1s and also are least sensitive to temperature, therefore they take longer to brake loose, or give up under high temps. Also had to work on tire pressures, to reduce the front grip a bit, but it caused understeer on corner exit under throttle.
Less than ideal for sure.

Despite the circumstances, still made it look good.

Exactly why we need some more ideal rear sizes.

I could've used that extra grip at Barber this past weekend.

First VBox weekend, everything worked fine, except the funniest laps my camera was aimed up, down or fell of the Roll bar ;-)

My 2 last laps of the weekend.

I went out again after looking how much I lifted out of T17, so trying to put some data down to see if perhaps I am faster out of T17 in 4th gear VS 3rd gear, the rear would step out in 3rd. Too lazy in 4th. but could keep throttle down and it did produce fastest lap of the day...

Have not figured out how to compare segments from different sessions.

Did not feel too well all weekend, I'm trying to remeber what session it was when I thought I passed Eddie, drove my *** off only to realize it was John on Slicks with his coach driving the car LOL. For a few laps I was VERY impressed by Eddie driving and I almost killed myself a few times hahaha...

Very accomodating point by's, except Eddies took 3 turns to complete LOL.
Session ends with a black flag going into T17, oil; on the track. Corvette went boom.

You will see from my point of view, I opened an avenue for you to pass me in turn 7, slowed down, and kept to the left, when I realized I had to lift. The lowly 3.8 with a passenger still have some grunt...
Talk about oil in 17, almost went south... video is uploading now.

I have to figure out how to get the gear on the screen with the VBox...

This was also a fun session

Quattro Punto Cero makes a nice little tank slapper in T7 on lap 4, then in lap 5 I thought I was passing Eddie.

My excuse is that I am a bit under the weather, but really did not feel to good Saturday morning with a cold and still jet lagged, so not very clear headed I thought I had caught up with Eddie and I was so surprised he just let me by??
Than he was GLUED to my ***. You can hear the car behind me the whole lap 5+6 I drove flatout to a 2:199 wondering where Eddie got the power from LOL, A few times I stabbed the brake pedal so hard my foot was under the throttle pedal LOL. Not a pretty lap hahaha...
Turns out it was Johns cars on slicks with his coach driving LOL!!
Sure gave me some motivation on my first real fast lap with the front bars 1 hole from full stiff....Never worked that hard, I was happy the session was over LOL. Just changed my wheels and 2 front pads (left) are half metal to metal.

Looks like a fun weekend. Sorry I had to miss it. No track for me in December. I'm looking forward to Winterfest and then COTA.
