Too much grip to be run with RA1's. They are A6-R6 level grip.

Are we talking about the same tire? I ran my first 1:28 at Road Atlanta on V710's. And was only about 1/2 second faster on A6's at the time. V710 are well known autocross tires and really fast ones. They are at least R6 fast and some have them pretty much just behind A6. I guess if you imbalance your car enough with bars and stuff you can make anything work enough. But the V710 are certified fast.

Put a full set on your car and balance the setup for the same tires and watch yourself spank your Sebring PB by a couple of seconds. I'd put money on it.

Sorry Dez, I was posting to senna's comment to go 255 VS 245 hoosiers..

Nothing wrong with kumho.
I'm sure I would prefer them over R6 and 345/30/18 probably still fits but at $399+shipping I rather go a litlle slower.

Haha, no doubt. You guys should, at least once a year live a little and buy some fast tires and please GO SHUT RAD UP!!!

Easy 2:16 on some fast tires for you. Matter of fact, what size do you use, I bet you could beat him on some of my takeoffs. I usually run 245/315 but have some 255 fronts that last time I ran them were still running mid 27's and have plenty of meat left. I just don't have any 335's.

I'm sure someone would borrow me some BBS with slicks for 1 session. That's all it would take...
Eventualy we will run out of RA1's and reduce track days for faster times on the same budget. No rush.
