Results are posted already in the interweb.

I took first place on Saturday among a multitude of Aero Beetles, some of them on slicks, and 2nd place on Sunday to my friend and long time autocrosser Randy (the fast Randy) in a 996 GT3.

I would always take an Aero Beetle over a Fiat for autoX, the Fiat doesn't rotate and it is too wide (wider than ZR1/Z06, Viper, and almost anything out there). Sunday course had a 1st gear 25mph turn, enough to kill the Fiat and pass the trophy to a Miata, and mighty Fiat still took 2nd overall.

All the other VW, Beetles and Aero Beetles took spots 3 and down.

Start practicing, because Winterfest is around the corner, and I'm heading there for Drag Racing + AutoX + HotLap with multi-cameras to record the shameful Aero Beetles, and a few Barbie cars too.

It fast enough for a 2:15-2:16 and maybe 2:12-2:13 in cold weather.

I'd be impressed if it ran at speed every session all weekend. never seen it happen yet.
Oh ok, I see. I use those too, but qualifying mostly. And occasionally they manage to be faster than the GTC cars (VIR).

Will be nice for one of you guys to go ahead and do it. If Troy comes down for the possible NARRA event in Oct/Nov I imagine he will do 15-17 in his RS stripper.

They still have 2 open dates and Rob told me they are just waiting on a confirmed date from Sebring for oct/nov Seems nasa fl is waiting for a date confirmation around that time too. They have oct tba on the Site but Sebring listed as the track.* Probably second to nascar stuff.
