Perhaps you could try a softer spring for that place. It looks like the back roads of my summer house.

BTW Rob , how you like my belts? Was I right on how easy they are to use?
What belts are you guys talking about, please?

FLA 997 playing catch with Srmufette. BTW- it goes without saying Rob's car is about ten times faster. He is just getting back into tracking cars again... If you sell it, I will buy it if I don't the 997 Cup first.

Jenks,

Rob is just getting backinto driving track days again... His car is SO much faster. I think becuase it is so light, his cars is faster everywhere. We had a great time playing Sunday, but his SD card was full so we don't have a video. He passed me, and then he let me pass again so we can keep on playing.

Fun times for sure...

Maybe it is faster but perhaps tire for tire it will be a close call, not sure it is that much faster?

What is a fast time 996CUP on fresh licks and 997.2 RS with some cheater parts, 2:14/15?

Regear a comfy streetable RS and add some more cheater parts and you'd be right there...

Depends on year and driver. Early 996 Cups made 360hp; later rose to 390. Gearing and other changes over the years also a factor.

Faster 996 Cups were in the 2:14's at last year's Sebring PCA race. I believe David Murry did a 2:11 in an '04 Cup.

Same driver, same tire. Maybe the RS will need a regeared gearbox and a few cheater parts like LSD and some brake cooling?

I wonder if someone was crazy enough to install the full cheater package, full suspension and regear a 4.0 on slicks, could he be as fast as a 997CUP?
