I am looking into buying an enclosed trailer and selling my 2011 Featherlite 3110. It has a tire rack, rock guard and tool box. Located in NJ.

Shoot me a PM with price. May be a little far but will consider almost anything at this point.

Switchcars (no affiliation) has one on their website, but they're selling it as new for retail price.

I might have a friend who is selling one. It's a Featherlite w/ a toolbox. I'll check tomorrow and let you know. It's located here in Louisville, KY.

You will regret not getting a Trailex

Call Carl at Trailex and buy one new

Unless used is close to you the shipping kills you. He can load a new one on a trailer with a bunch of other stuff

I would be interested in understanding the apples to oranges details. I have the 3110 and tow my GT3 and SC regularly. It tows beautifully with my Q7 TDI. Not sure how it could tow easier. I also have a Trailex enclosed that of course is much different. Maybe the tow vehicle makes a difference or the balance is wrong on the 3110.

I found the Trailex tows/ follows the tow truck better

Maybe depends on the speeds you tow at....the featherlite I towed didn't track as well at higher speeds

I think how it is loaded may also make a difference, regardless of the trailer. I used a scale to get the right weight balance. The position of the SC is different from the GT3. This would influence tracking a lot. Each trailer type will have different loading positions I would guess. Just something to consider.

I had a fl and it towed fine behind my then f150 - I had anti sway dual cam equalizer hitch thingy though

They both tow fine - get the best deal you can and they both will resell quickly when you inevitably go enclosed ;-)

I know "it will never happen"
Until you get sick and tired of loading and unloading your open
Plus an enclosed is a great place to hide stuff from your _____

Just sayin

Quick Reply: Used open Trailex 8045 or featherlite WTB
