My grey 2010 RS

Beautiful combo, subtle understated elegance. Congratulations Anand. I had a white gold metallic '86 Carrera 3.2. This would have been the perfect companion for that car. The best mod that my RS needs is driver education.

Wow thank you all so much for the warm welcome!!
LOL! Love seeing the enthusiasm for the FD. It was my first truly quick car, I am not sure I could part with it...but the RS is a very convincing replacement!
Working on more pics, right now I'm too busy driving it just about everywhere...and thanks for pointing that out about the lights, completely forgot about those!
More FD fans! I love it. Karmx7, I love VR, my second favorite color
Fritz - had no idea you were on this board, pretty sure I bought some random parts from you on 7club...I'll let you know if I change my mind about keeping the FD
Thanks good points about the cooling pipes..I'll have to do my research...
Thanks! I've been following your various iterations through GT3RSs (I've been lurking for a while) and love your vids...
Haha I asked if yours was still for sale before I pulled the trigger on this on purpose!
Born in the USA!
Very good point! I need to get this thing out on track ASAP. Although, one necessary mod has already shown itself...hardwire for the V1 haha
Ah that sounds amazing! Good point about the drivers ed, definitely something worth looking into.

I haven't heard of any 997.2 coolant pipe failures. Maybe it's because the cars aren't old enough; the glue is different; or maybe I just haven't heard about it - I don't know.
I welded the fittings on my 996, but I'm not even going to think about it for my 997.2 until it becomes a documented issue.

Yes, I too thought that by buying a GT3 all my "upgrades" were included with the car....
Not really, you can't help yourself, it's like a puppy staring at you at supper time. You can't help but feed it mods and it is so happy when you do.
Welcome! Awesome car, you found a virgin! Congratulations!

Congratulations, very nice! I am in the same boat as you as I have had my 2010 GT3RS for about 6 weeks now. My first mods to be done next week are a roll bar, harnesses and upgrade of suspension components. I will do the diff and deal with brake issues later.
Wish I was on the younger side but didn't even get into this hobby until my mid fifties.

Keith,
Red is still going strong and putting a smile on my face daily
I think the only car that could replace an FD is a GT3.
I'm looking again so if someone wants to sell me a highly track prepped car that's ready to go let me know
