Atlas Grey Shark GT3 gets some goodies
This rare (only ever seen one before?) Atlas Grey (I love the way the color changes in different light) 2007 997 GT3 came into us for a few track-aimed goodies. Along with a SharkWerks exhaust and EVOMSit software for improved response/power we also enabled left-foot braking. In the rear we tightened things up some with the RSS Engine mounts, Dog-bones and Toe-steer kit as well as the split-RS style adjustable Tarmac Lower Control Arms.
In she comes with a few toys waiting to get installed...
Off with the bumper!
On with the SharkWerks exhaust for better sound and a decent 16 pound weight saving off the toosh:
And just because they look more psycho we added our larger 88mm ceramic coated tips:
The factory control arms with their neoprene mushy bushes!
That's more like it. The lower control arm is no replaced with an RS split-style control arm and solid thrust arm bushes and inner monoballs. Upper arms are also replaced and a bump-steer correction kit installed with lock out plates:
Also in the rear we replace the rather sloppy factory engine mounts with semi-solid RSS Engine mounts:
With 996 GT3 European bucket seats installed the Shark Werks Fire Extinguisher kit slots in place:
Ready to go to track also outfitted with Toyo 888's, Brembo Type III Rotors, a TC Design Roll bar etc...

Very nice, thanks for sharing.
Yes, there are very few Altas Grey GT3's around. And yes, the color is very mesmerizing in person, it is hard to find pictures to do it justice.
Here's mine .2 Altas Grey.

Yes, Atlas is such a beautiful color and I can never get it on my camera as well. Looking great!

I didn't know they offered atlas grey on .2 or did you do PTS? Either way, love the color - probably my favorite grey for a 911, much more than either Meteor grey and especially more than the new Agate grey.
