Any news on NT01's?

I was watching their website during the SEMA show hoping for some kind of announcement for new sizes but it seems they are only interested in social media and drifting..... I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for some better 18" sizes as I'd like to give them a try.

nitto 245/40 315/30 will work on gt3 and gt3rs (7.2)
but it would be better if they did 255/35 and 335/30 ;-)

Yup, it would be perfect if Nitto could add two sizes to their current NT01 production:
255/35/18 and 335/30/18
Also for Michelin MPSS lacks anything wider than 285 in 18", which is a shame. I hope that changes next season.

Greedy RS owners. I think you meant 245 and 305
I really like these tires. Not quite as good as 7 year old shaved Toyo's, but damn fun and very predictable.
I'm running -2.5 up front and -2 rear, zero toe front and 4mm rear.
Checked temps after hot lap at Sebring last weekend. From inside to out on the rear 175 to 170 degrees. From inside to out on the front 155 to 150. That's pretty damn near perfect wear across the entire tread block.
I run them 38 rear and 36 front hot.

If it does ever happen, I still think you'll see a 305-35 since those are the sizes that all 997's can use, and make the most sense for them to make.
Keep in mind, when you mount a 305 on a 12" rim, it stretches to within .5" of the section width of a 335 (which does not increase in size on a 12" rim). So you wouldn't be able to tell much of a difference in grip between a 335. Just enjoy less understeer.

Yeah they are. R888 blows.
Agreed. I've run them at Roebling and Sebring. TC off. Worked great. A little ice mode but Hoosiers do that too.

Exactly, all the RS's would enjoy even more balance with the 305. This is exactly why I still run the 245/305. I stockpiled some RA1's

I wish I had done the same. RA1 is a super star tire. Especially when you could, at one point, get RS sizes for like $125 a rear. NT01 is no slouch though.

I need new 18" track tires. I've last used 255/35 & 315/30 R888. Was think of trying 245/40 & 305/35 R888 to compare. Anyone have any other ideas beside the 245/315 NT01? I scare to try the Nitto because my lowly Carrera GTS PSM is more sensitive than the .1 GT3.
