I put a set on my GT3 and haven't had any issues. The pressure readings match my Longacre digital pressure/temp gauge.

Forgeline installed them on my wheels when they mounted a set of MPSS's.

Heres what i finally figured out and have had 0 problems with sensors. You cant replace just the front or just the back. If you do, you run the chance of them not working. If battery goes out on just one of them, they may all not register as working. When I replaced all 4, it worked within a mile of driving off.
You can get the sensors from Tire Rack for like 90 bucks each. They are made by the same manufacturer that makes the OEM ones, the only difference is they arent rebranded porsche. I did not need the stems, i just did the sensors. I know for sure from my own experience the following sensors have worked:
-ones from Tire Rack
- ones from Americas Tire/Discount Tire (they will price match tire rack)
And the reading is spot on to if I manually check the pressures

^ If you wish to pay $90 each for sensors. That's just fine. Whatever makes you happy.
You can also join Imnsblu and get them for $134 plus shipping for all 4 sensors from OEWheels.
Not trying to knock your logic about not replacing "just the front or just the back" but it doesn't work that way on my car. I replaced one when it went bad and everything worked fine until the second battery went south. So, I replaced the other 3 and everything is fine again.
Most reputable tire shops have hand held equipment to detect which sensors are transmitting. The sensors operate independently of each other and the batteries usually last about 4 years. However, if they have been sitting on a shelf for years, then all bets are off.

Yes most shops can detect which are trasmitting. When i had the issue of it not reading after not replacing them all, their equipment detected all 4 of them transmitting, but still had issues. It wasnt til i replaced them all did it solve the problem. But maybe that was just an anomaly with my car.
But logic would be if one sensor has died and its been around 4 years, chances are the others are going to die soon, so may as well do them all.

Does anyone know if the 2010 sensors for a GT3 are the same as the 07/997.1 GT3?
