Try to sell a 4.0 with track patina.......Savy got lucky to find the right buyer. For the asking price most 4.0 will remain at Cars and Cafe

Good luck gettig your street car insurance to write you a $200k check when it gets balled up......Peters almost was balled up two weeks ago, and it wasnt his fault
The trick is to find an enjuneer to work on your car and pay for half of all your travel expenses...

I'll dump the GTR and my RS and get a keeper. The 4.0 with some decent work will reach the 500WHP. that's enough.
Eddie, When you're ready to put a sweet number on your RS, call me.

996cup is a street car minus interior with some adjustable shocks and sticky tires

Plus fancy lightweight body parts

Maintenance is same, gearing is better, no variocam garbage on engine

Cup and street car motors time out at same time

Good luck with ur six year warranty on a tracked street car , lol

That's true ... I would need the insurance and a lawyer to keep me out of jail, for either killing him, or making sure he would be handicapped

The math in my head just made me puke between GTR and GT3

Peter, you know that the last one, is always the keeper ... until the next last one

I have the RS for over a year now, and the GTR too, the second one against my will

So far so good with warranty. You cant complain either.

You save about 300lbs? How much does a cheap cup car weigh?

You have to try it out, you're handy and can reduce cost and use used slicks.
To me it seems weird to me to DE a racecar.
Just for DE adding up costs per hour is just not interesting for me to enjoy a car only a few a year. I really have to drive it a few days a week at least.

Cost is the same, dont believe your bargain base friends that can make a Cup car from bubble gum wrapper. Perhaps even more if you throw some fresh slicks on so you dont look as silly as a 4.0 getting passed by a 3.8 on slicks..

Maybe when I get older I buy a race car and just show up arrive and drive when the 4.0 gets too rough to drive every day without ventilated seats.

And race cars are safer. That is probably the main reason for me to justify buying a racecar..

I've been looking, none of the other 4.0RS sellers are mentally stable enough to even make an effort at talking about making a deal. Seems only nutcases bought them.

Mine is available for Miiiiiiilion Dollars

6cup-> 2540 lbs

I sell Randy my used slicks or trade for track support on the cheap, or Lobster Tacos.

I'll give it a try

try this on for size....in two years 996 cup is worth what you bought it for

two year old, 18k mile 4.0.........$140k at best

Cup is still cheaper

3) cup is safer, hands down
Just picked up an enclosed ATC, now need to figure a way to have cup and Giesha
Sounds like a plan. I almost got a Cup but my driving skills weren't up to it then and still aren't. You are correct in that a 6 Cup is just a better 6GT3 and maintenance doesn't have to be crazy expensive.

I do have space for Giesha at my warehouse and would take good care of her with proper exercise to keep her trim.

Lol! Mine just arrived today. Tried desperately to buy a Schuberth but their US distribution is a disaster. Stilo distributor discussed all details with me and was great to work with. Helmet is awesome, perfect fit out of the box. Can't wait to try those built in speakers, hated Chatterbox headset, bulky POS.

I needed a closed face for use with the Mono. Going to sell my Stand21 Ivos Double-Duty, which is great but wanted integrated coms/hydration.
