Drove it an hour yesterday, no drone.

I love the sound it is just right for me on the loud side. Any louder and i think it would tire me. This is perfect for my 15 minute commute and track use.

OEM center muffler and Eddie's setup I could not live with everyday, the drone is just too annoying. It annoyed me just driving Eddies car off the Dyno! Sorry Eddie.

But really dont understand guys liking the OEM setup either. At least do a Sharky.
I think I let it stall 5 x last week looking like an idiot not hearing the engine or with fake on / off sound oem.

It can make all the power in the world, lose tons of weight off the back but its about the sound for me. If bad sound makes driving less enjoyable, I would not do it.
I wouldn't recommend my set up for people that commute or drive on the streets constantly. My car has no cats, and is purely focus on power.
You did the right choice. I don't enjoy the sound of the side muffler delete kit with the OEM center, is on the loud side down low, and quiet up top.
M&M side muffler delete system is just right to my taste, nice deep and dark tone. Makes a angry sound

Seems a shame to put the bumper back on and cover the backbox, looks lovely

Eddie's Dark Grey 3.8RS was not tested with the stock exhaust system yesterday, so there is no baseline from his car.

Trakcar 3.1 (2010 GT3 RS 3.8) was tested with stock headers and cats with 2 configurations: config A is side muffler delete with m&m exhaust, config B is stock side mufflers (bypassed by the valves at WOT) and the Sharkwerks center delete pipes. There was a solid 20whp difference between both systems.

Trackcar 4.0 (ex-Savyboy GT3 RS 4.0) was tested with the stock exhaust, then with the side mufflers deleted + M&M exhaust. Once again a solid 20whp difference across the RPM range from 5,000rpm and up.

These are 4 consecutive dyno pulls on the stock 4.0RS. Then a comparison between the stock 4.0RS (trakcar 4.0) and the modified 3.8RS with side mufflers delete and m&m center muffler (trakcar 3.1).

The horsepower gap between the stock 4.0RS and the 3.8RS with M&M exhaust is very similar to the gap between the stock 3.8RS and the 3.8RS with M&M exhaust.

This is the shocker. The GT3 RS 4.0 with the side mufflers delete and the m&m exhaust. 474 whp, on the same dyno where my Fiat ran 397whp. Over 40 lbs removed from the rear axle. These numbers are in the range of what a 458 Italia makes to the wheels.

61whp more than Trakcar 3.1 (3.8 GT3 RS on stock exhaust), shocking difference.

My 07 Boxster Coupe made 258whp on a dynojet bone stock. The Coxster currently has a Capristo Full System (headers+sport cats+mufflers), a Softronic tune and a modified airbox.

Almost 40whp gained over the stock Moving Chicane, and just 100whp behind the mighty Fiat.

This Wannabe Porsche is very economical ($30k car), fun to drive (once modified), and it runs in the Coffee DE Cup. With a little more development, it can run at the tail of the Gold DE Cup.

Nice test. Should've thrown the Akrapovic in the mix.

Right, we did the same test with Akrapovic last year. Same dyno, and same day testing, exhaust was replaced also on the dyno.
Gains were marginal. Izzone has one healthy engine.

Im sure Eddie can accommodate you Mike when you are ready..

Long time no talk hope all is well..
Hi Mike, I'd do this at your place but my car is rear wheel drive and PDK and due to the PDK and ECU it require front wheels to turn same speed as rears. Eddie said I need a all wheel drive type of dyno that turn the front wheels too.
