Correct. 3.6 + Guard LSD and some suspension tweaks. Possibly slicks as well, don't remember 100%.

A track with a lot of turns is where a flexible, torquey engine really shines. Who cares about an oval track? (I am just harassing you).

Correct my blue car had full Akrapovic and a ECU tune. Also a full cage (70lbs?) and a passenger (180lbs).

3.9 vs 4.0, ain't going to happen. Sorry

In straight line, yes, as long as the car running the 3.9 engine kit also has the same gearset as the 4.0RS (3.89 R&P and same gear ratios). With the stock 997.1 GT3 gearset, not a chance, 4.0RS would be faster in straight line.

Once you throw turns, there are more factors at play. The 997.2 GT3 RS 3.8 and 4.0 have massive downforce and better suspensions compared to the old 997.1 GT3/RS, so with equal power, the 997.2 GT3 RS produces faster lap times.

The best performance for the price and best value is the GT3 RS 3.8.
