Default 918 sighting

I live in Arizona and was driving home to Sedona from Phoenix this afternoon.

At about 90 miles north of Phoenix on Interstate 17 I saw no less than FOUR
918's going south into Phoenix. They were all in a row and not going all that fast. I figure they were here for hot weather testing. It was about 102 here today. But still this is in the middle of nowhere! I would have turned around to take video on my IPhone
but I could not cross the freeway and had to wait about two miles to turn around. I would have done it in my GT3 but alas I was in my Mini Clubman
and would have broken every speed limit on the planet will no really hope of catching them. So.........sorry, no pix, no video but it was awesome!! I saw the Martini Car that has been on the net along with the number 05 car that is also out there.

So that was the highlight of my day. Heck, highlight of the year for someone that never sees anything exotic where I live!!

Thought I would just pass it along for what it's worth.

I disagree.

I recall my chat with the dealer principal at Porsche Centre Winnipeg when he saw a few Carrera GTs testing in the -50 degrees Celcius in the middle of Winter before the car was officially launched.

I started to appreciate the R&D that goes into Porsche from that moment onwards.

OP - awesome sighting!!!

Notice the happy face at the end of the quote? The thread shouldn't be removed. I wish I could have been there. I'm sure it was exciting seeing the 918's.
