Correct. No need to widen entry. Go from track out curbing of T1 across the little point of pavement between 1 and 3 and into the brake zone of 3 on the far right side of the track. Easy peasy!
For all intents & purposes, T2 does not exist.

Car54, next time we are both at Sebring at the same time, let me take you out in your car at 80% and show you what I mean...

forget t2 even exists - there is a bit of extra pavement at t2 so you can cut across it there almost dipping right side tires off the track, then head straight, no more turning, which will point you to the middle or left side of the track for entry to t3.

"What is interesting is that your race car would run in the TT1 class for NASA Time Trials, the same class where a GT3 RS 4.0 runs."
I don't know the rules of NASA TT but are you saying these two cars should be in same TT class? Or are you amazed they would be in the same class? I am.

NASA TT1 is basicly HP to Weight with some minor adj for tires etc. So yes the 7.2 GT3/RS would fall into TT1 sling with the cheater Fiat.

Can you watch the first 30 seconds of this video? Am I doing this left-right-left? I'm not straight to the braking zone to T3, that's for sure.
Thanks!

IMO one thing you can do in T1 is start your turn in much sooner but with less steering angle, in other words make it a much gentler arc...and get closer to the wall, maybe putting the left tires inside the painted line. This give you a better arc and makes track out easier. This means more entry, mid corner, and exit speed. In addition, again IMO, after you are tracking out, you are still steering left (notice how your car ends up close to mid track in T2?). There is no need for this, and it introduces needless instability into the chassis. Go wheels straight at T1 track out, and drive that line to the brake zone of T3.
I went back and looked at a lot of my track video's and data and I'm at 80mph at T1 apex...sometimes 81. Chris Hall's data has my car at 82-83mph steering his azz off though...and this was on R888's too.

Mike, many people think of the apex as a specific point, when in fact in many corners at many tracks, the apexes are relatively long expanses. At Sebring, IMHO, these "elongated apexes" include to some extent or other T1, T5, T15, T15a, and T16 (in addition to T17, obviously).
