Nice job, Peter!
Way too much carnage today, in race and advanced DE groups. Ugh.

Awesome. A 2:18.90 and a 2:18.83 on RA1, with the modified 3.8RS Aero Beetles running low 2:20s at best.
My PS3 simulator says the 4.0RS should be 1.5 sec faster at Sebring, compared to the 3.8RS on same tires, but we know Eddie boy has deleted the side mufflers (same as you), but also removed cats, special headers and ecu tuning, so the difference between his car and yours is closer (somewhere around 1.3 secs).
On Hoosiers you could run a 2:17.3, and slicks would place you on the mid 15s, claiming the...

Rad, the delta between both stock cars is around 40whp and 30lbs/tq
The delta between my car and Peter's is 35WHP and around 22lbs/tq so pretty much the same.
My best time was yesterday a few 2:20.8 - 2:20.7 if not mistaken
Which is 1.9 sec delta between both cars.
The problem right now is that the car doesn't run properly with the tire combo and the hotter it is the worse it gets.
I'm basically driving by myself as the 3.8s are all on slicks or Hoosiers,
The ones on RA-1s are not as fast and Peter is about 2 secs or so faster.
No fun, so I got a 2 days old set of hard compound Pirellis which is as fast as Hoosiers but don't loose time with temperature.
If cold and grippy in the AM, I will be happy with a 2:18, 2:17 not likely as the tires are little on the older side and high weather temps.
Ill post all videos once I'm back, need to edit too.

Whatever, that's haulin the mail. Not much left in the RA1's, and no sense in wrecking the car trying to prove it.
No replacement for displacement. I think we're seeing just how good the mid-range punch, and top-end is on the 4.0 with Peter wheeling it around on the same tires.

Not easy with 3 days old (yesterday) shaved RA-1s
Mid range punch ???!!!
You should see him coming out of 7 where the engine is right in the mid range where he has around 40-50 hp more and tons of torque, is brutal !!!
And than I get called cheater trying to get gripper tires when he's driving a carbon fiber light weight beauty with massive power.
I'm trying to level out the field, while the boosted baby is on its way...

I have a set of Pirelli slicks with 4 heat cycles on GT3RS 19" sizes, and also the Trofeo 265/325 with 2 HC. Make offer.
Use 2nd out of T7, I use it even with shorter gearing than a 3.8RS. 3rd is fast, 2nd even faster.

Remember that his car is as cheater as mine, I still have stock diff, no monoballs.
Just power adders that don't offset the extra power of his 4.0 with also power adders (read M&M exhaust)
The advantage is the same as if they were stock and he still have the diff, which helps quite a bit, and I'll show how to slide thru 17 at 100MPH +++
:0 bit oh **** moment with John right behind me

Is this you:
I'm better at tire management
Car for car, stock vs. stock, 4.0RS is 1.5 secs faster. Your cheater car on same tires, the difference is about 1.2 secs. Any delta beyond 1.2 secs requires a better driver in the Grey car, I can fix it for you.
