too much drag on the a GT3 to hit 200+mph..... RS even worse.

Speedo is not 100% acurate at that level.

Im the desert i have seen 195mph ( in NJ-GTs RS funny enough) but i dont believe the speedo is 100% at that speed....

For me to really hit 195mph i would need to remove the rear wing and possibly the rear view mirrors...... duct tape would be handy on the gaps too....

Speedos are DESIGNED to read high.

If you don't have access to GPS, you can still calculate your speed at a given RPM by using the known gear ratios/tire diameter.

That sounds about right. The speedometer showing 196 mph while the real (actual speed) is 180mph.

At Daytona my Fiat reached an actual top speed of 176mph, it is also the 2011 Daytona DE Cup World Series Champion, with macul a close 2nd, Grady or Peter in 3rd. Dashboard speed might have been close to 190mph.

Nick,

Doubt you got anywhere near 180 in your .2GT3 The 6GT2 with less drag and more hp got to exactly 180mph on data during the 2009 OLOA. The high hp GT-r were getting a few more mph but not much.

I want to see data. My Fiat has less drag than The Greek, supposedly more power, less weight, a truly fast sequential, and the most I can do at Daytona is a 176 mph on brand new race spec MPSC, beating all the Viper ACR and Competition Coupe lap times, modifed 3.8 RS on slicks, and the usual DE Cup front runners.

I did not get team orders:"OK, so, The Greek is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?”
