Default New shoes on, finally! E88 content

Today was the day that I was finally able to get these wheels together. It was a long process, partly due to my schedule. Anyways, purchased them used in silver. Had the paint stripped, then an aluminum oxide blast to give it some texture, then a brite dip and anodize. While I was at it, I had the anodizer blast the barrels and paint them black to help hide brake dust. I spent the last day and a half polishing the lips and reassembling the wheels and today wheeled them over to my tire guy to shod them with some rubber. Managed to toss them on the car this afternoon. IMO, looks perfect!

Now off to GMG to get it dialed in.

Enjoy the pics and thanks for taking the time to view this thread.

Thanks for the compliments. These are crappy pics taken from my cell phone. I also snapped off a few with my DLSR that I will post up tomorrow.

I too was mesmerized and my wife had to come out to the garage and say, "Hey, it's time to come in". lol

Anyways, I really wanted to go up in size but was afraid that the tire wouldn't fit. I spent months researching what would be the best sizing for me and I narrowed it down to a 245/35's for the front and the standard 305's in the rear. The only 315 that I know of is the Hoosier A6 and R6.

The tires are MPSS's and I thought they would fill out at the tread a little better than they do, but oh well.

My rollbar will be done next week and the car is going to GMG or Werks 2 for the alignment. Should be ready for some track duty in a few weeks.

Well done, those BBS E88's are classic wheels.
The gold centers look great with white and black cars.

They look great imo.

What is the rear offset? and are you running the OE 5mm spacer?
