Default Fiat 458 from a GT3 with HDHERO2 on Tow Hook Mount at VIR

Terrific day at VIR recently and tried out the new tow rennline tow hook mount with an HD Hero2. Playing tag with a friend in a Fiat 458. You can see what the horsepower difference between a GT3 and the Fiat looks like every time a decent straight appeared.

Nice to see 930man make a cameo appearance in his baller M3.

Quality of the video was very good, audio not so good although you can hear the 458 pretty well over the wind noise. It does have a pretty incredible soundtrack with that engine and transmission combination.

Would love to get a microphone wired up from the gopro to my engine/exhaust as the wind noise drowns everything over 100mph.

Jenks you'd have enjoyed this one. 12 cars, just friends, all of VIR for a day to ourselves.

Good view of those new kerbs VIR has installed for the upcoming ALMS race in September (at least as I understand it thats why they installed them).

Very nice video. Enjoyed following the flow of the line on the track.

Nice video Richard, I was riding in Eric's 997TT at the end. You caught his nice tail wag at Oak Tree...his tires were gone by that point!

Man is it fun watching you guys play tag throughout the day's sessions!
Eric really helped me work through some of the corners I kept butchering. It was a really good day. Learned a lot, saw some neat cars, and hung out with some quality people.

Thanks 930man for showing me your car. There was an incredible smell in the air as you ripped past us. Just wow!

Plus we had some surprise visitors at the end of the day!

Some pics:

Next up, Chin on July 2 and 3. You know it makes sense, just get that gear change sorted out first. Shifter cables?
