Car is at CPR in Fallbrook, Ca
Company known for 356 and Longhood 911 restorations
I did a tour of their facility last year and almost bought a 73S from them
They have nice cars but tend to be very high on price...don't know how negotiable they are
Best of luck with your search

I went down there ready to buy this car today. I spoke to the owner of the shop a few times via email and once over the phone this morning. We agreed on a price, and I made the 100+ mile one way trip to get the car. I was told the car had not been raced and didn't have a single paint chip. Upon seeing the car, it was clear that everything was not as represented. The maintenance records showed multiple pad and tire changes as well as tech inspections in the first year or two of the cars life. I would not have had a problem with this had it been disclosed. Then I noticed the car had multiple stone chips in front of the rear wheels. Again, not a deal breaker, but I wish I was told. Finally, they told me the car was "chipped" and the original chip would be included.
My friend pointed out that the rotors looked a little thin and may be nearing replacement. I asked if I could drive the car and was told not unless I put a check for the full value on his desk. The check would be returned to me if I didn't like the car. At this point, we decided to walk. Another guy followed us out and tried to talk to us for a bit, but the owner again came out, clearly upset, and said the car did not have a chip and he was mistaken. After all was said and done, he basically told us to leave and that he would not be selling me the car (not that I was buying at that point).
I understand that this car has mileage and I wasn't expecting a perfect car. However, being lied to and treated like a moron would leave anyone unsure about paying that kind of money for a car. They bought the car at 85k with GT2 seats which was a good buy. The car also now has 1000 miles more than advertised.
Buyer beware.

Pissedpuppy: I am wondering if you have checked out this other 'RS Green' gt3 RS that is currently for sale:

As you might remember, you posted in owner's Datax thread last fall when he had it for sale here and I know you have been interested in an unusual color gt3 for a while now. Datax was asking $95K and Ferrari of Washington is asking $105K, so you have a little room to negotiate.

Looks like Datax bought a beautiful black Fiat 430 Scuderia, joining the ranks of NJ-GT and others in this forum going into darkness!
