Default GT3 vs RS - Widebody wise

Anyone knows how much wider a GT3RS is than a regular GT3 ?

Any differences from 2007 to 2010 (rear quarter panel wise) ?

tks.

RS (C4 body) is 44mm (1,7 inch) wider!
No difference in body width between 2007 and 2010.
Cheers

From the product description:
The difference from the 911 GT3 can be seen at first glance. The body of the new 911 GT3 RS is wider – 44 mm at the rear axle and also, for the first time, 26 mm at the front axle. This enables a wider toe-angle and the user of wider tires for greater stability and improved cornering.

The RS 997 is a diferent chassis than the regular 997?

Edit

I mean, the 997.1 has a diff chassis than the others?

I thought all had same tub,

just 997.1RS and onwards had the wider spacers.

997.1 and 997.2 are the same tub.

997.1RS and 997.2RS are the same tub.

the only difference in RS and non RS tubs are the wider rear fenders....

If you look at the back of an RS, it also has a wider rear bumper to match the slightly wider rear quarter panels. Hence why the rear taillights look like they are spaced in on an RS versus flush on a regular GT3.

There are differences between all 997 GT3 variants and regular Carreras that can be seen by just looking inside the rear quarter panels. There are additional reinforcements and less access holes in the rear fender well. Surprise if you ever need to have paintless dent repair done on a dent in the rear quarter panels of a GT3. Hint, you have to access by removing the tail light. The front structure is also from a Carrera 4 as the 4WD front structure is stiffer (and about 50 lbs heavier) than a C2 front structure. If you have a 997.2 GT3/RS with front end lift, the air pump and tank go right where the center diff would be on the front of a C4.
