Hopes/plans are after initial track shakedown are to take a 3.8 RS, 4.0 RS and my RS to Sebring with Lucas Luhr as the shoe to do a comparison.
Am discussing this with Champion Motorsport to get this accomplished.

We will see.

I would love to be at that event. Lucas is one of my favorite drivers, his driving style is impressive, Patrick Long and Lucas Luhr are my favorite Porsche factory drivers, despite of Lucas not being with Porsche anymore (but still within the VW group).

I think that your 997.1 GT3 RS would do plenty better than a 4.0 RS. If you have seen Gavin's 997.1 GT3 RS at Sebring you would agree, Gavin runs circles around his own 4.0 RS with the properly modified 997.1 GT3 RS.

The exhaust doesn't look stock to me. Anyway, 385-390 whp is about right for a 997.1 GT3. The 997.2 GT3 runs in the 405-410whp range. The 3.8RS 420-425 whp. The 4.0RS 455-460 whp. These are the numbers I have seen on dynojet for these cars. 2003-2004 996 GT3 360-365 whp.

NJ-GT my pleasure, I will inform on the forum of such a date. I trust that Champion has no problems with that. Fingers crossed for an Excellence article.
Oh and btw not to change subject too much but to another discussion looks I would need to bring you along when shopping for that Scud

Actually no on the 4.0 R&P. After long discussion with my project head at Champion Motorsport (Louis Milone) and discussion with Matt @ Guard the plan is to re-gear the entire tranny (shorten), do the LSD and keep the 3.44.
Yes changing to wheel studs and the suspension will Ohlin 4 way adjustable.
Looking into the caliper studs.

Like I said, Juan. This is awesome and congratulations in taking the initiative to tune the car the way you want it to be. I hope to see the car in person one day.

Amazing cool stuff...this is the way to mod!

I just can't I imagine all this....I'm waffling around trying to figure out how to afford KW shocks and GT3 brakes as an upgrade to my GTS....heck I'd be happy with GT3 shocks.....Wow what a project your car will be...wish you the best with this.

I thank you all for the compliments but trust it has been and still is stressful and nerve-racking. It becomes hard to concentrate on work. There's always something to think about the project and ask about this and that plus what's going on?
The next guy will have a much smoother course.
