Great price that's for sure. Just tell your friend to look up the history and have a reputable shop/mechanic do a PPI.

Good luck to your friend.

The buy it now is $145K, seems high. The mods listed were $15K, he must be missing something or over paid. Nice car though.

maybe it's the "rare" color combo...guess there aren't many grey/white golds out there but for a track workhorse who cares if it's a rare color?

what's up with that rollbar? it doesn't anchor at the shock towers

Listing ended @ < $126K and didn't meet reserve. Nice car, but $145K asking is certainly high compared to market.

130/135 is the right price range.
Setup is worth $0, each owner/driver should do (have done by fav shop) his own setup.
Car has way too many options for a (ideal) track car.

3K miles. 140K Doesn't seem very high for Today's prices.

Also interested in any other 997 GT3/RS cars that have track prep mods as well, if you know of or have one, feel free to pass it along by email or PM.
Thanks,
Mike

I haven't seen these cars sell for anything over 135k and lately 120 seems to be the magic # for your typical lightly tracked car w/ 10k miles.

There are probably 40 GT3s on cars.com right now listed from 70 to around 145 but they are not selling so look for prices to drop in the next 6 months especially with what could be rough economic times on the horizon. The wall street journal has been negative the last week or so

I know I know I'm the only pessimist in regard to pricing the .2 RS but I prefer the term realist

The car listed at 145 is NICE. Grey with black stickers........EVIL, sinister looking RS. I LOVE IT!

Thanks,

There's a white RS on ebay with some decent mods. Seems like a nice car but 110k is too much because a .2 GT3 is faster and they are available with low miles for 105.

You see dealers paying 119 for those cars now.
They went up in value for sure, the cars that you see for 120k are a lot higher mileage.

IP, I have a 2010 white GT3 available for sale. One owner.
Please let me know if it suits your friend

Yep it was a dealer that just bought the one on the forum but nobody else here wanted it or I should say moved fast enough. Maybe the dealers know something I don't but I don't see these cars selling for 140 and up next year I see 120 and down.

What looked like a really nice white 10 GT3 just sold on the forum w/ an ask of 105. Priced to sell and sold.

Lots of pristine (low mileage) .1 RS cars have been on ebay recently but I haven't seen any sell. 90k and below sells em. 100 and up and they aren't going anywhere because .2 GT3s are better/newer/faster cars selling for 105.

Local dealer by me had a 2010 3k mile asking 129, I offered 125 which we agreed on. Couldn't get my car put together in time though, and someone scooped it up.

You have to like the superman look but this seems to be the best deal out there at the moment.
