Default new Bilstein GT3 Clubsport suspension (PSS-10 like)

just noticed in this months "GTPurelyPorsche" (May, page 9) that Bilstein (and their spokes-person Walter Rohrl) are launching a new clubsport suspension for the GT3's, 2-way adjustable (ala PSS-10) with no external reservoirs...

another suspension option (of course requires PASM disable)

I have to imagine that if they got Walter to put his name to it, that he had something to do with the development and has some integrity, so I want to think it wont suck as a result.

walter supposedly had a hand in the Bilstein b16 damptronics orginally developed for the GT2.... I got a set, and although they do work, they are not mind blowing.

im interested to see if they got it a little better this time around.

Careful with that generalization..."Cargraphic Airlift" product for GT3, Rohrl picture/name all over the marketing- disaster. Product is no longer being sold in USA last I heard due to the all the problems.

As much as I would love to believe in someone's integrity, anymore there is no such thing. The good news is that if anyone could figure out an upgrade package, you would think Bilstein could (???)

Brother Pete,

I have about 123 personal reasons not to defend Cargraphic, its products and service, but Bilstein's Airlift, mechanically wise, is fine and works. Not to mention that there is no alternative that could work with the factory suspension..
BTW it's still sold in the US. I just checked.

I also have a lot of respect for WR. He is the spokesman for Porsche, but I can think of several occasions where he just said what he wanted, in public and without fear. In this respect, he is as good as they come..
