I hope it has a 4.0 PP and Clutch!
Engine sounds very healthy!

The woeful downshifts suggest fvd has eliminated the Porsche factory engine brake torque algo's.
The sound track could be any gt3.
Displacement shoppers need to add redline and downshift software to the shopping criteria. Tampering with porsche systems and emissions would be a deal breaker.

All I could hear is a bunch of lousy heel-toeing and rears locking up on downshifts. That, and CGT is probably right about the revs--pay attention to the tach--the shift points are perhaps a tad below redline. In any case, the upshift indicator never lit up...
I've never been that impressed with FVD in general--they're a good balance of price and performance (exhausts and what not), but when it comes to zero-fault-tolerance stuff such as an engine build I'd not want to gamble with them...

At least for US buyers, the engine build is done by local shops, both of which are pretty well respected (not that I'd want to be their first guinea pig to figure out all the gotchas like changing software, emissions, codes, local fuel that's little better than water, etc.)

That's the sound of NO heel/toe.

And warrantied.
And not tomorrow.
They will verify, build, test, tear down, double check, test more before selling. I guess 2013. They have been talking about it for years, just have not focussed on it yet.

^ +1. I've had the honor of having my car serviced at what I think are two of the finest Porsche shops in the world. Orbit Racing and now Manthey Motors. If I had a Porsche in south Florida again it wouldn't go any where but Orbit whether it be an oil change, R&P LWFW upgrade or a 4.0L motor build. Rodger stands behind everything and he is a pleasure to deal with.
