I have several Porsches in my garage ..I only use the Cayenne for travel
This Sunday I remembered why:
I was unloading my RS II at the dealer after a DE weekend, and there it was abandoned in the back...a 911 with out of state plate and a damaged left rear tire....not even a CL.
I truly do admire your courage and endurance but I always fear the inevitable

Most do not put that many miles in a year.

Impressive. When I got my '10 GT3 I put as many miles on it with my son the day I drove it home as it had on it by the first owner in over a year... 800 miles from Tennesee back to Iowa.

Best road trip was bringing a 356 Cab from Newport Beach back to Iowa with my dad back in the mid 80's. Had the top down for a little while (it was early April) and dodged a tornado by about a mile in Kansas. Also found out 6 volt headlights are nearly useless at night in the rain!!!

LOVE roadtrips!! (drove from Iowa to the Daytona 24 several times in the early and mid 70's in the 914...)
