Wow, that sucks, sorry to hear.

No, I meant we got the top speeds into T17 from data, not the speedometer.

Back to the OP's question:

I run 24psi cold (up to 28psi cold if raining hard as it has been lately) and 32 hot with 19" RE11's on my 7.2 GT3. Notice my RE11's get greasy above 36 psi and horrible over 40psi.

I have a VERY hard time believing an EVO hit 172mph on the back straight. I also have a hard time believing a Time Attack car Period for anything they say. They could tell me the sky is blue and I'd need to double check that.
Ryan should be able to do 2:13 in his car easy...... He can match a 996 cup time and that's a 2:10

His car is also Real Stout on the straights...

Huh?

Cups run fine. Just be nice to them & they are nice to you.

yeah, but they need more work, more commitment, more tinkering, more personnel.
no more detailer on monday, no more bluetooth calls on ocean drive....
then too easy to win de cup - it's lonely at the top.

I emailed Ryan about that weekend for more details as it was a couple years back and my memory is failing rapidly This was his reply:

Oh ok. Unfortunately the throttle body failed before I could put down an all out lap, but during the practices I was taking sector times. The fastest complete lap I put down was a 2:13 in the 2nd practice. In the 3rd practice, I was going hard in a different section each lap to get my "ideal" laptime, sector times indicated a 2:09.4. Top speed on the straight was 180.0 with rev limit set to 9,250.

That little Evo is insane!
