track tire pressures

I have a friend with a gutted evo that pings of the rev limiter at 172 and does 213's. Figured the nissan with that much power would be in the ballpark.
My car makes well under 400whp and I top out at around 147-148.

I'd wanna see data on that. The 996 GT3 did a 2:22 Street tires and did 144mph. The GT2 did a 2:14 hoosiers and did 153mph down the back straight.

Data on the EVO. I would expect a 997 GT3 in the high 140's.

a few summers ago at a time attack event. at the time he was pretty much sponsored by everybody. even had the suspension manufacturer (jrz?) there tuning on the car. he's a very good driver. car is totally gutted, big hp mods, and an active aeromotion wing. very trick car.

I just looked and couldn't find the times on Mylaps anymore. I'm not saying they didn't do it but I know for a fact that no one recorded a time quicker then the TIC guys. I have a VERY hard time believing an EVO hit 172mph on the back straight. I also have a hard time believing a Time Attack car Period for anything they say. They could tell me the sky is blue and I'd need to double check that.

By my own company... Doesn't county since I ultimately pay for it
Yep, he only made it through the practice sessions. Ryan had some major issues with the manifold coming off the turbo or something like that. Kept cracking if I remember correctly. Threw down some ridiculous times during practice. Shame the car failed before he was running "for real". I'm always impressed with the fact that the car runs stock evo brake calipers. Ryan is a better driver at 23 than I'll ever be. Depressing

For comparison, a full-race Z06 that I have coached, with a very mild tune and headers, and a so-so suspension, does 2:13's and 2:14's, but never gets out of the 160's on the back straight.

I don't remember just how much power Ryan was making at the time, but I would guess his power to weight ration was better than that of a z06. Then add in active aero and a race tuned suspension. Makes for a great combo when it's actually running

With Data or on the Speedo. Because the Speedo are horribly in accurate at that kinda speed. The GT2 speedo told me I was in the 170's. The data showed barely in the 150's. On Daytona glanced at the speedo coming into the trioval and it was up around 200. I'm thinking Holy crap I just broke 200mph! Nope data showed 179.9mph.... Actually it showed 400 something but that was a glitch.
