Best Way to Store Removed OEM Seat
I don't have a good place in the house to keep it inside so I was considering putting the seat in an oversized trashbag and storing it the attic? Will the bag end up discoloring or damaging it in any way? Do I need to be concerned about the Texas heat in the attic over the summer? Is there a better way?
Thanks.

Wrap it up in an old cotton bed sheet maybe so it can breathe and won't sweat?....

be careful not to bend the slider arm.... they can bend easily.
also be careful with the side plastic covers as they come off easily.

+1 dont allow condensation to develop, might be an idea to get some silca-gel bags and store them with the seats to deal with moisture.
I would also treat the leather with some conditioner prior to storage, since you will probably forget about them for a while...

Cover it with an old bed sheet and store it in one of your spare bedroom closets. Put a double layer of cardboard under the seat tracks and it's easier to slide around. Watch out fot the "pins" on the bottom of the seat tracks. You won't hurt them, but they'll tear up carpet or a wood floor.

That would be great! Now, if only I played video games....
Or it would make an interesting office chair.

I think you're right. It needs to be temperature controlled.

If you'll store it in the attic, add some mothballs too...

Bolt them to the floor of your living room...clearly the obvious and most prudent option.

I strongly advocate for this option, and with 2 seats you have room for a guest

They fit in wardrobe boxes available from U-Haul and other moving companies.
