Has anyone tried this pad spreader?

Curious too... I'm thinking of trying the PFC08 but I hear good things with Cobalts too.

I also put a set of XR1 on Paul's 458 Italia, and his brakes went from horrible at Sebring, to hand of god stopping power, no fading, great durability, easy on rotors.
Bedding in XR1 is a matter of few minutes. There are currently my favorites, until I get my hands on Endless pads (pretty soon).

I think they are xr2's. Good question. I told Andi to send me what you had. He led me to believe fit might be dicey as they hadn't done a 997 gt3 yet and he wasn't sure on pad thickness. When they showed up I thought for sure they would have to be milled down but they fit perfect.

I couldn't see why not. The serts take the factory caliper bolt. I'm getting ready to put the studs in as I have serts. Caliper removal is a total pita without the studs.

Andie is a good guy. I think you will like the pads. Will be interesting to see how your wear is as you are running slotted front rotors and mine are plain. I was wondering if my running plain rotors without the shaving effect of the slots has contributed to my long life. Enjoy Barber.
