Default Greenest car of all: the 997 GT3!!

"You might be wondering if the GT3 RS really can be classified as a "green car". Well, my thinking is, when you get it up to its top speed of 192 mph and coast to a complete stop for 3 miles, it would barely use any gas in that stretch, so it would be getting the equivalent of 100+ mpg."

"This GT3 RS is fairly stock and the list of modifications is slim: High velocity door pulls, titanium muffler bearings, double row granistat harness mounts, and unobtanium connecting rods"

You just have to disregard the 5 mpg you got getting up to that speed.

Top gear had a funny clip where they races a M3 and a Prius. The M3 ended up with better mileage. If I recall the M3 had to match the lap time of the Prius so it basically coasted around the circuit

Yep, that Top Gear video is in the same write-up in this thread.

It would be less than 5MPG (probably more like 3MPG to sustain WOT until vMax) but still a great point!

5 MPG is not too bad. The Bugatti Veyron's 100 L fuel tank (62 gallons!) is empty after 12 minutes and 43 seconds at full throttle.
