Default Does anyone know this crashed .2 GT3 from LA, CA?

Hello members!

I've been watching this car run thru the auction for 6-8 weeks with no sale. It seems like the seller is chilling the bid up to $89-99K before the cars up. I just checked that the lowest retail selling .2 GT3 is $107K.

Interesting that the "GT3" logo plate is missing from the rear interior.

Value, cost to repair, and current bid numbers don't make any sense.

Lord, do I feel good about the .2 car I got for sub $100K without a scratch, actual mileage and a ton of extras. Time to sell.....

The repairs on that car would have to have exceeded $65,000 in order to make it right. Frame damage included. Unless there was some massive engine failure/damage

Or unless the owner was adamant that his brand new Porsche would never be the same and managed to pull a few strings.

My guess is the 87k bid is foreign. Remember, everything is relatively cheap in the US.

Like I said, I strongly think that the seller has a team of copart members chilling the bid. This car has been in inventory for two months and has gone as high as 99k on preliminary bids only. When the auction goes live nobody bids on it...

I am impressed that the headlight is still intact.

I have seen this car....trust me, there is more than the estimated repair cost in this car.

Also, there are a few little things missing here and there on the car besides the rear GT3 plate.

I am trying to find the insurance company who totalled it to find out what the real story is. When the insurance company totals a car, it is usually because the damage is 75-80% of the car's wholesale value.
