hey guys - I wanted to see if anyone had any data on this GT3 currently on eBay? appears to be Riviera Blue - looks nice

$120K starting bid seems a little dear, let me know your thoughts on what it should take to close, and if anyone knows the previous owner, etc., etc.

Happened before. Guys see their orld dameged cars for sale, certified by the dealer.

With that history I would worry about:

Price
Too much paint where there should not be any
Missisng center caps
Red??!! roll bar
white?? dials??

Do we know if this car started out as a PTS? It may have started white...

That's not possible in Canada for Porsche CPO,... is the US different?!

I don't believe they are supposed to CPO a car with an accident. Doesn't mean they won't do it. 2nd car I've seen recently on a Porsche lot, CPO'd with an accident on the Carfax. Do the dealers just not check or not care.

In addition to the blatant red flags in Carfax and what everybody else has mentioned, a couple things with these pictures:

- Odo shows 6k miles but the car's running aftermarket MPSS. Either the car's lived a rough life on the track, or something untoward has happened to the original tires (cue Carfax...)
- The lower middle air intake's in the body color as opposed to black. This part is actually BLACK for all OEM cars unless specifically ordered that way (cue repaint...)
- Red, aftermarket rollcage on ***/comfort (whatever those things are called) seats that aren't harness-compatible?

I'd be VERY skeptical.

They are not. These dealers that CPO cars with stories should be reported to PCNA. I'll bet they will come down hard on those dealers as it kills the promise and piece of mind in buying CPO. Very sad.
