Service light already?
Purchased my CPO .1 RS 6 months and approximately 1400 miles ago. I took it out for the first spring drive yesterday and noticed that the "service now" indicator is on. It has 7600 miles on it. So, any reason why it is looking for service? Dealer changed the oil prior to my purchase, so maybe didn't reset the indicator?

U need the dealer to read out the codes before we can help.
Oftentimes it's just an exhaust or some other sensor getting tripped. Not implausible if your car's been mothballed over the winter...

one may want to buy a durametric cable and diagnose why the ecu is asking for service, Or take it to the dealer and get it checked for service. As others here have stated its hard to diagnose these types of lights over the forum without data.

That is kind of what I was thinking. I bought the car out of state, so returning to the dealer isn't practical. I plan on having the car for a long time, so a durametric has been ordered.

Out of sight, out of mind. The previous owner did that with a seat belt light when they swapped from the OEM seats to the hard backs. The dealer took care of the light, and goo gone took care of the glue on the dash from from the duct tape.
