...and I have data comparing A6 to Michelin slicks, dream on for thinking they have similar grip, I have driven on them many times. Remember, I ran slicks for 4 years.

New Challenge (called at Winterfest and no takers): Best Aero Beetle lap + Best Fiat lap, this much worse drover against any of the much better drivers.

Warmup lap, 2 hot laps, a cool down. Next NASA Time Trials at Sebring. Takers?
Yep, enough of the I'm faster than you business in the DE cup world, run a TT and let the chips fall where they may.

The A6s are 2 seconds faster than the R6s on a 2 minute track. I have no idea what an RA1 can do but the 888s are 2 seconds slower than the R6.

Default "Flying Dutchman or any of the trained Aero Beetle GT3 boys" vs. FIAT Challenge

Multiple challenge options:

Option 1: 30 minutes track session at Sebring where the Aero Beetle boys have plenty of experience. Traqmate onboard, video onboard, whoever covers the longest distance in 30 minutes. We need zero traffic.

Option 2: NASA Time Trials. Aero Beetle and Fiat run in TTU. Fastest Lap time posted by NASA in the results.

Option 3 (my favorite): Driver1: Fastest Lap in Aero Beetle+Fastest Lap in Fiat. Driver2: Fastest Lap in Aero Beetle+Fastest Lap in Fiat. This is a driver's challenge rather than a car challenge. Also possible with NASA Time Trials.

Aero Beetle and Fiat on Hoosier R6, because they are 2 secs slower than A6 and 2 secs faster than RA1, so Reter will lap in 2:15 and I will lap in 2:19 an easy win for him (or anyone else up for the challenge).

I don't know how to drive an Aero Beetle, and my FIAT is the easiest car to drive with all its nannies and buttons. No RA1 made on 19" wheels. Fiat and Aero Beetle on steel brakes and PFC08 brake pads. Splitters, wings, and dive planes allowed, stock or aftermarket.

Option 4: Pro-Driver for the day to lap in both cars, and set a time benchmark to show the world my vastly inferior droving skills, and the magnificent superior and outstanding Aero Beetle boys driving level. The controlled driver and the 2 challenge drivers get to drive both cars.

Any takers? bets?

Remember, if you forgot the last time you saw my car, it did not have a gigantic rear wing. Wings slow down cars on straights, so wingless cars give the optical illusion of being more powerful.

The same lack of wings, hurts on corner speeds, so time is lost there.

Rad this is awesome! I've appointed myself as the event official photographer.

How much does it cost to rent Senring for a day... We could hold a nice DE and do this challenge?

Yes baby, I want to watch this... We need someone else to elaborate the rules. I like that you have multiple options though. I think it should be an endurance race. My two cs.

Option one sounds good.
Why not 45 mins as I suggested? Fiats don't last that long.

If someone donates a set R6 and rents the track it's OK with me! But I don't mind open passing either.

All the other options are convoluted non sense to shine in the one lap wonder.

I would vote for Option 4. Pay my transportation + hotel, and indemnify me, and it's DONE.
