Hey, maybe we won't feel the tires bouncing out of balance anymore.
No more problem with rubber pickup on the tires, tires rotating on the rim or weights flying off..
Took some pictures this morning of the 991. It's a beautiful car in person.

It the best driving 911 I have driven. I can't wait to trade it for a turbo. There are always the Luddites. You guy will be clamering for the new GT3 that will rip the paint off the current one wait and see. The Carrera S was meant to be a mainstream car and it does the same time as the GT3 on the ring.

Had an opportunity today to look @ (not dirve) 997.2 & 991 Carrera S. Sitting side by side at dealer.
Tech specs/mechanics aside. Exterior wise, 991 better looking design than 997.
I did say, before, that the back lights of the 991 resemble Aston Martin...and hence hate the look. Yet trust me, when you view the two types 997 and 991 (side by side), the 997 is definite outdated look.
*This doesn't apply to older models. Look at 964, 993... still everyone's all time fav 911!

I have a 997 gt3, have been racing for 15 years and just recently got a 991 drive. It's a fantastic machine and these complaints are mostly sensationalist journalists looking for something to whine about. The car is fantastic. Go drive one.

I did exactly that. Withheld my opinion until I had a 2-hour one-on-one with a 991S. It's a fantastic gran tourer. A Merc SL with a Porsche badge.
It's unclear how the GT cars will shape up, but I don't like the current electric steering rig ONE BIT. ServoTronic is an outright crime and needs to be binned from a performance car

The complaints are perfect, Im glad its nicer and easier to drive and doesnt want to kill you. The journalists want the car to be a GT3RS as a daily driver, what a bunch of dicks.

I don't follow- the 997.2 GT3 RS is already easily a daily driver- easily. Very user friendly on the street. It can do errands, to and fro to work, go to dinner, etc. It doesn't even get that much attention. The next generation will be no different in that regard.

Thats weak.
Anyway, lets assume you can either during or post purchase modify the 911 any way you want to to make it a track car. And lets agree that the GT3RS is significantly closer to a track car than the 911C2 is for example out of the box. The journalists want the 911C2 to be a GT3RS, and the drivers and owners of the cars dont.
