i agree with wsh - changing the indicators on this car, and any imo, is wrong.
i like the car to look standard. especially mercedes and porsche.

just that on an ORANGE car the ORANGE markers might look better...seems closer to the paint color than clear

Im still debating what to do. I though about removing all the decals and just having the RS 4.0 done in black, then I figured I should keep them. Then I thought maybe just redoing all the red in the decals with black would look good, then I realized the interior has red RS 4.0 stitching, so it would look dumb if that was the only red on the whole car. I definitely want to do clear taillights, I like them a lot better. I also think I am going to have some StopTechs made with orange calipers, so we shall see where this ends up!

Go naked and add black or silver 4.0RS decals on the bottom of the doors and engine lid a la GT2RS..

Red only belong inside bar calipers..

Guess I need to check the cost of a spare graphics kit in case it looks terrible haha!

 

Just my opinion, it is a great color to have w/o decals except the 4.0 RS (I'd have them in black) on sides and lid if you like. Anyway, you got one heck of a car !

My dealer screwed up the ones on my rear guards when they took the shipping protection off. They then bought the door stickers by accident, before getting new rear guard stickers. So now I know that the stickers down both sides are worth approx $1800. I believe the ones over the center of the car and wing run close to 3K making an entire set just under 5K.

 

Is this the same car now listed on Cars.com at Bobby Rahal Motors in Wexford, Pa ?

Decals?

Crazy expensive. I toyed with the idea of putting the "PORSCHE" decal on my wing - like on the 4.0 - and was pleasantly surprised to find it at Suncoast for something like $70. Have not done it yet and probably won't, esp since it would have to go over the film. At the same time, I was shocked to find the checkered flag decal for nearly $600 and the fender script decal for nearly $400.

Nope - no checkered flag or fender decals for me. Just saw them for sale and couldn't believe the price.

You did the wing decal? That is really the only decal I like on the 4.0 - so I thought why not on the 3.8. You have any pics? Is it adhering to the film well? Not peeling up or anything? Did you do silver or black on the black wing?

 

Seems to hold up fine.
Just flat black on a shiney spoiler, looks nice in the sun.
