RS 4.0 for Sale

Bypass sound great, are pretty inexpensive, but from a weight point of view, are not as effective as a cup set up.
The track exhaust is really nice, but the drone is unbearable for street use in my opinion.

Here's a question for you guys, I am looking for an exhaust for this puppy. Thinking your typical RSS or Sharkwerks style of just center replacement exhaust which would be easiest, cheapest, and lightest. Anyone really know which is best, or is it all preference? Let me know!
Sharky final muffler is about $1500 as the others and sounds the best IMHO and easy to put on. Never heard a better not coming from a GT3, but that is preference.
Side muffler delete (CUP pipes instead, about $1000.00 installed and any pipe bender could copy them) with OEM final exhaust, one hole closed or CUP final exhaust is lighter and passes more sound restrictions but anoying drone under 2500RPM but it is quieter, no cool sound, less fun.
Cheapest is really cheapest. If you spend money make it a good brand. I've cracked all of it, OEM Ti final exhaust, side muffler, the sharky final mufler that replaced the cracked OEM Ti, so I would worry about buying expensive lightweight Ti systems. I now put Snowboarder54's final steel exhaust on that was gathering dust in the attic. This after about 60 track days, 16K miles, maybe half of them track miles and my daily driver.

Ya I am just trying to keep in mind that I will drive this on lots of highway road trips, so I dont want it to be annoying. It will see some track time, but it will be used! I have a Sharkwerks on my 997.1 RS and like it, was wondering about the RSS, I saw the video of the one online and its gorgeous sounding!

very cool car you bought bud, really nice looking. Congrats. In my own opinion if you have the money for the 4.0 I would get a AKRO or M&M/FVD or maybe CUPSide pieces or even the new BBI side bypass sounds like a nice setup. Have fun

I trust you have access to plenty of dynos so whichever way you go it would be great if you could post before and after dyno runs. Enjoy the car.
