Is this a normal thing for the motor in this car to have a very faint smell of oil. I've looked under, over and in between every crack on this car is it is clean. There is no leaking, seeping or sweating oil marks anywhere on this car. However, when I drive it I can faintly smell what seems to be oil.
Any insight?

Mine leaves a fine blend of hot oil, rubber and metal aromas in the garage after a spirited drive.... it matches perfectly to the ticking sounds of cooling metal!
Unless you have puddles of fluids forming under your car I'd not be concerned.
It's a Porsche thing!

Wow, way to put a members worries to rest. Thanks for all the replies. I love this site!
Anyways, I did the last oil change myself so I know it was done 100% correctly. Since I don't get the car out but once a week, I tend to run it like it's meant to be run and by the time I pull it back into the garage, it's smells of oil, rubber, brakes and some other funky toasty smell. Could it really be the cosmoline.
