For instance after working with VR at Winterfest, in turn 1 I have gone from hard braking at the bridge to 50% pressure about 200 feet past the bridge. Not as much speed to scrub as you 7-3 hot rodders and pushing 85+ mph through there on my way to hopefully 95+ as I grow my pair a bit bigger.

I loved running in the blue group since not only could I grid at the front and hold off most other cars but it did my ego good to see a string of 3 or 4 GT3's fail at trying to get past me in the entire session, as contrasted with my typical experience of being made to feel like a rolling chicane by the local Gt3 drovers.

And with a lower hp car you should rarely need the brakes so you still have lots of fun and you save a lot of $ on pads!

Peter, you can teach me how to drive, I can teach you how to shoot. Sounds like a good trade.
drdrank, just rear cage for now., but I still think front and rear is the best way to. Maybe, soon...
Mike,
I am back in town. You have my number, call me...

+1000, and the good thing is that what you learned from coaching will last you a lifetime. You can't say the same about the go fast parts. I have enjoyed receiving coaching from Ron Zitza, Dave Scott and Chris Hall. They each bring something different to the table that is of huge benefit. Dave and Chris in particular have wonderful inter-personal skills and make learning so much easier given their gentlemanly approach.

Also, since most of us here are instructors for PCA, Chin, PBOC and other groups I learn good instructing skills from good pro coaches.

People, let me say this so Niko can feel better and stop his hostility:
Niko, Peter, Randy, Erik, Juan, Eddie, Clark, Rad, and Grady are all faster than me. This is not a joke, they really are. (If I'm forgetting anyone's name, please forgive me )
Hope you're feeling better now

Sin,
I am not being hostile at all. The message just doesnt seem to be getting through, thats all. Frankly, I dont really care who is faster. Its all about having fun. Ran with Grady last session, and it was probably one of the most fun DE sessions I have had to date.
I'll never give Randy a point by though. Would rather hear Burke snore for 24 hrs straight then let Randy go by....

A little off topic comment here but it could save a life....if someone snores, they need to talk to their doctor and possibly be referred for a sleep study. Sleep apnea is a dangerous condition which shortens lives, and can be treated with methods such as what I use with a cpap machine.
